At 8:00 - 8:30, you are picked up at hotels within Old Quarters (if you book our transfer). The journey from Ha Noi to Ha Long takes about 2,5 hours via expressway.
- Afternoon
Enjoy the lunch buffet as the cruise departs to the Ao Ech area, where you can choose between swimming and kayaking on the deep blue water. The afternoon tea will be set up during 17:30 – 18:30 to obtain the best sunset scene. You can take photos with the spectacular natural background, go for small talks, or enjoy the sweet and savory treats with refreshing drinks.
- Evening
A cooking class starts at 18:00 where you can take part in making the Vietnamese traditional spring rolls with the chef’s instruction and taste it at the end of the class. The dinner is catered at 19:00 with à la carte menu, including both Asian and European dishes to be selected. After the meal, it is your free time to enjoy spa service, participate in night squid fishing, or simply relax in your cabin.
- Morning
Early birds will like the dawn scenery on the bay at around 5:30 - 6:00. You can get up for the interesting tai chi session on the top deck at 6:15 am. Breakfast is catered in the dining area before you are transferred to the day boat to start the day excursion. Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island is the first stop where you can ride a bike or take a seat on an electric car to discover the rustic local village. You will have a chance to visit a local house and learn about local life.
- Afternoon
Back to the day boat and enjoy lunch at around 12:30. Relax and continue to kayak or swim in the afternoon. You come back to Le Theatre cruise at around 15:30, take a rest, and continue to enjoy the stunning view of the sunset with some cocktails and finger foods in the afternoon tea.
- Evening
A deluxe dinner is served in Opera Restaurant at 19:30. Squid fishing or massage service is available at your request.
- Morning
Join the early morning tai chi session on the sundeck to relax your muscles and find a great balance to start a new day, before having a light breakfast at Opera restaurant. Experience the bamboo boat, rowed by local fishermen, which takes you to explore the magnificent stalactite in Dark - Bright Cave. After returning the cruise, you will be served the brunch buffet while returning to the shore, which is expected to be at 10:30 - 11:30. The shuttle bus or limousine is ready for you to arrive in Hanoi at 14:00 - 14:30 (if book our transfer).
Important Notes
- Programs & schedules are subject to change without prior notice depending on weather and tide conditions.
- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay: the decision is made by the Halong Bay Management Board on the day of departure.
- In the event of a weather cancellation we will arrange an alternative date on request, or refund in accordance with the cruise policy.
- Passengers should arrive at the harbour at least 30 minutes before the overnight cruise boarding time.

- The FOC rate for children under 4 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. Only 1 (one) child under 4 years old traveling with two (2) adults is allowed for FOC per cabin.
- Children from 4 - 9 will pay an extra 75% of adult rate.
- Children aged 10 and above must pay full fare as an adult.
- Peak season surcharge: Surcharge of 30% cruise rate applies for travel date on Lunar New Year. US$25/person for bookings on 24th December, 31st December, 30 April, 1 May, and 2 September.
- On the second day, you will travel on a day boat and do not have access to the mother boat and your cabin until later in the afternoon (for 3 days/2 nights itinerary)
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check-in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.
- No-Show: 100% of total rates.
- Cancellation notice must be in written form and sent to us via email.

Beautiful ship, good food spread and excellent service. Sam was our caretaker for the 3 days we were there. Our trip wouldn't have been as wonderful without her. Tom, the cruise manager, was always checking in to keep us informed. Book 3 days.

Is there a second option on day 2 for kayaking instead of going on the bamboo boats to visit the caves?

But if you want to take more kayaking on day 2, it is possible as well but you will need to do kayaking as the guidance of the cruise manager.
