Transportation to Halong Bay (private vehicle or shuttle bus; not included in the cost of the cabin). Reach the SunGroup-operated Halong International Cruise Port.
- Afternoon
Proceed to the main vessel on a tender. Receive a free drink upon arrival, a quick introduction, and safety instructions from the welcoming personnel. Enjoy lunch in your stateroom while the Athena Cruise makes its way to Halong Bay. Once you reach the Bo Nau Cave region, take a tender transfer to Sung Sot Cave, also known as the Surprising Cave, which is the biggest and most stunning cave in Halong Bay. Reboard the boat and go to Titov Island, where you can swim and hike all the way to the summit of the mountain.
- Evening
You can take advantage of the sundeck for Happy Hour in the early evening or enroll in the cooking class to learn how to prepare Vietnamese cuisine. After supper is served later, guests are able to engage in dinnertime activities including squid fishing, movie viewing, massages, etc. Included were lunch and dinner.
Important Notes
- Programs & schedules are subject to change without prior notice depending on weather and tide conditions.
- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay: the decision is made by the Halong Bay Management Board on the day of departure.
- In the event of a weather cancellation we will arrange an alternative date on request, or refund in accordance with the cruise policy.
- Passengers should arrive at the harbour at least 30 minutes before the overnight cruise boarding time.
