Pick up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (pick-up not included in cruise price). Arrive in Ambassador Cruises - 1st Floor, Terminal – Halong International Cruise Port, Bai Chay Ward, Halong City.
- Noon
Check-in at around 12:15, enjoy welcome drinks while listening to the cruise briefing. At 13:30, lunch will be served while Ambassador vessel cruises toward Halong Bay. You will pass the famous Fighting Cocks Islet, and Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves.
- Afternoon
Stop to visit Luon Cave. You can choose to take a kayak (extra fee) or a sampan boat to admire this tranquil area. Later, the cruise takes you to Sung Sot Cave - the largest and most stunning cave in Halong Bay. For those who do not join the excursions, pampering yourselves at the spa (extra fee) or the outdoor jacuzzi pool is an ideal option.
- Late afternoon
The cruise then anchors at Coconut Tree Island for overnight stay. Enjoy an afternoon tea or relax on the sundeck while waiting for sunset. Join Happy Hour and cooking class at the Piano Lounge.
- Evening
Savor a delicious seafood dinner at Ambassador’s restaurant. After dinner, relax and indulge in drinks while listening to live music (except Monday). You can also try squid fishing or book spa treatments. Overnight onboard.
- Morning
Start a new day with a Taichi session on the sundeck or at the Piano Lounge. Enjoy a light breakfast with coffee, tea, and freshly baked pastries. After a full breakfast, transfer to Sunshine Cruise to explore deeper parts of Halong Bay. Stop to explore Trinh Nu Cave area by kayak and visit Trong Cave.
- Afternoon
Enjoy Vietnamese set menu lunch on Sunshine Cruise. After the break, immerse yourself in the crystal-clear water in Ba Trai Dao Area. Then, explore the pearl cultivation process at a local Pearl Farm on the bay (or visit Me Cung Cave if already visited the previous day) before returning to Sunshine cruise. Enjoy afternoon tea with fresh fruit before coming back to Ambassador Cruise. Enjoy free time to relax, watch the sunset, join the cooking class, or enjoy canapes.
- Evening
Savor a premium Gala Dinner on the sundeck (Dress code: smart, elegant, refined). After that, free time to relax, enjoy live music, drinks, or squid fishing.
- Morning
Early risers can attend taichi session on sundeck to start off a new day. Enjoy morning coffee & tea with freshly baked pastries in the restaurant. At 7:15, start the trip to Titop Island to hike to the top of the mountain for a panoramic view and swim in the bay. Return to the vessel, enjoy the full buffet breakfast.
- Late morning
Bill settlement and check out. Back to Halong International Cruise Port and disembark.
Important Notes
- Programs & schedules are subject to change without prior notice depending on weather and tide conditions.
- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay: the decision is made by the Halong Bay Management Board on the day of departure.
- In the event of a weather cancellation we will arrange an alternative date on request, or refund in accordance with the cruise policy.
- Passengers should arrive at the harbour at least 30 minutes before the overnight cruise boarding time.

- An extra charge of USD 25.00 per extra bed if required to set up in the cabin for 02 days/1night program or USD 35.00 per extra bed for 03 days/2 nights program (already included in children rate). An extra charge of USD 10.00 per baby cot for 02 days/1 night program or USD 15.00 per baby cot for 03 days/ 2nights program if require. This extra service is subject to Ambassador Cruises availability.
- The child rate for children from 4 to 12 years old is applicable for 1 (one) child sharing a cabin with 2 (two) adults. In case the child occupies the sole cabin, the rate for adult is applied
- Peak season surcharge : Surcharge of $50 per person per night applies for travel date on 24th December and 31st December. Surcharge of $30/person for travel during Lunar New Year (16, 17, 18, 19/02/2026). Surcharge of $30 per person per night travel during 7 April (Hùng Kings' Festival), 30 April (Vietnamese Reunification Day), 1 May (Labor Day), 2 September (Vietnam Independence Day).
- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates
- From 10 to 7 days prior to check in: 30% of total rates.
- Less than 7 days prior to check-in: 100% of total rates.

Such a wonderful experience. Food was the best. Dinner with lobster and steak could not be better. Beverage was reasonably priced. Room was comfortable and had a great view. Boarding the cruise directly from the dock was a plus.

Just had the best time on the Ambassador Cruise. The staff were super accommodating. The live music was a plus. Food was brilliant. Every dish was delicious and beautiful presented. For the excursions, Sung Sot Cave was stunning. The hike to the Titop peak was totally worth it.
