Pick up from your hotel around 8:15 - 8:45am for a 2.5 ride to Tuan Chau Marina (transfer not included in cabin price). Have sometime to relax at our waiting lounge before boarding the cruise.
- Afternoon
Upon getting on board, receive welcome drinks and safety briefing from our cruise manager. You can check in your beautiful cabin, have a quick rest before proceeding to lunch. As you enjoy the special menu, the cruise will slowly move towards Lan Ha Bay. In the afternoon, explore Ao Ech, a peaceful area ideal for kayaking and discovering the untouched beauty of Lan Ha Bay. Return to your boat in late afternoon to watch sunset over the Bay. Join our cooking class on board or Happy Hour at our bar.
- Evening
Dinner is served and evening is free time for your own activity (squid fishing, movie watching or just chill at our common area).
- Morning
Only early birds can enjoy the splendid beauty of Lan Ha Bay at sunrise and participate in Tai Chi lesson. After enjoying breakfast, passengers will move to smaller boats which will take you to visit Viet Hai Village on Cat Ba Island. You will cycle along the village (or use an electric car) to explore the daily life of its fishermen. At 12:00am, lunch will be served on the day boat.
- Afternoon
Continue to explore Dark and Bright Cave by kayak or bamboo boat rowed by local residents, surrounded by dramatic limestone formations and calm waters. Return to the main cruise and spend the afternoon at leisure. Join a Vietnamese cooking class, take a refreshing swim, or enjoy sunset drinks during Happy Hour.
- Evening
Dinner will be served around 7:15pm. After that, tourists can enjoy their free time onboard: admiring Halong Bay beauty on the sundeck, sipping a drink and making new friends at the cruise’s luxury bar, watching a movie, or trying squid fishing with staff.
- Morning
Early risers can enjoy the spectacular beauty of Halong Bay in the early morning and take part in Tai Chi class. After breakfast, visit Thien Cung Cave (Heavenly Palace Cave), famous for its impressive chambers and spectacular stalactite formations. Back on Orchid Cruise for check-out scheduled from 9:45 - 10:00 am. A delightful brunch will be catered. Around 11:30 am, the cruise returns to Tuan Chau Marina, tourists disembark and say goodbye to the cruise.
Important Notes
- Programs & schedules are subject to change without prior notice depending on weather and tide conditions.
- Trip cancellation due to bad weather in Halong Bay: the decision is made by the Halong Bay Management Board on the day of departure.
- In the event of a weather cancellation we will arrange an alternative date on request, or refund in accordance with the cruise policy.
- Passengers should arrive at the harbour at least 30 minutes before the overnight cruise boarding time.

- More than 30 days prior to check-in: free of charge
- From 30 to 11 days prior to check-in: 15% of total rates

Dear Carol, For similarities, both cruises belong to the same company so sharing the same itinerary and quality services. For differences, Orchid Trendy is a larger boat with 20 cabins while Orchid Classic is a smaller vessel with only 14 cabins.
